The 2013 International Student Festival was held on Wednesday 18 December 2013 in the Auditorium at Sugimoto Campus. The International Student Festival is held every year in cooperation with the OCU Education Supporters Association to offer international and Japanese students an extra opportunity to meet each other.

OCU President Nishizawa opened the party with a word of welcome, followed by speeches by the Chairman of the OCU Education Supporters Association International Exchange Committee Minami and Chairman of the OCU Exchange Students Association Shengdi Jin and a toast by Vice President Miyano.

There was a record number of participants this year, in total 180, including international students, Japanese students, faculty, staff and special guests, who all enjoyed the food, a self-introduction game for all participants and the performance of the OCU a-capella group Accord.

In the closing speech, the Director of the Global Exchange Center Nakagawa thanked all the students involved in the preparation for making the party a success.
