On 24 June the 2013 Photovoltaic Power Generation training program kicked off with a courtesy visit by the 9 trainees to Osaka City University (OCU) President Nishizawa.

After warm welcome words by President Nishizawa and Dean of the Graduate School of Engineering Hino, Mr. Njoka Francis Namu delivered a speech on behalf of the group of trainees stating their expectations of the program.

In the evening a special welcome party was held in the OCU Wisteria restaurant. The party was attended by Vice-Chairperson Kashiwagi, board members, lecturers, graduate students and staff.?
