For the third consecutive year, OCU participated in the JASSO Study in Japan Fair in Bangkok, Thailand. The fair was held on 3 September 2017 at CentralWorld and attracted 2,724 students this year. Japan is still a popular destination for Thai students and some participants visited both the Study in Japan Fair and? the nearby held Japan Expo in Thailand.

To strengthen the invaluable ties with our alumni in Thailand, an alumni dinner was held the following evening at a restaurant on the campus of Chulalongkorn University. To emphasize the importance of our alumni network, OCU President Arakawa joined for this special occasion. It was a very enjoyable evening which ended with the singing of the OCU university song.

On 6 September, President Arakawa paid a courtesy visit to the President of Chulalongkorn University, attended also by the current and future Dean of the CU Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, and in the afternoon visited the Faculties of Medicine of Chulalongkorn University and Mahidol University. ?
