“I've been infected!” This scream of regret is becoming commonplace among young people everywhere. Overseas, they are dying one after another. COVID19 is spreading in Japan and it does not see you as an exception. Imagine yourself gasping for breath as an oxygen mask is placed around your mouth. Difficult to imagine? Well this difficulty could be the cause of unnecessary suffering for your parents and grandparents. Evil is approaching and it's too late for regret. 40% of infected people are asymptomatic. The virus is everywhere - on the railing, on your money, etc. Together, let’s follow these precautions as if we already had the virus!

<Ways to prevent the spread of COVID19 (These are natural ways anyone can do)>
1. Maintain at least a 2 meter distance from people
2. Wear a mask (only in crowded places)
3.Enforce proper hand washing and alcohol disinfection (Click here for the correct method)
4. Enforce proper coughing etiquette (click here for the correct method)

Until May 31,
1. In general, school is closed
2. Restrain from leaving your house for unnecessary, non-emergency reasons
?1)Avoid places where people gather indoors: events, karaoke, etc.
?2)Avoid eating out and talking in close proximity to other people: welcome and
farewell parties, social gatherings, etc.
?3) Avoid closed spaces: movie theaters, etc.
3. Use public transportation as little as possible: If you have to, avoid touching objects as best as you can. Do not touch your face with your hands.
Wash your hands/apply alcohol disinfection as soon as you get off the train.

* Please adjust your actions according to any and all requests made from the governor.

These are stressful times, but only for a limited while. Relieve stress by reading, walking, jogging, cycling and hiking. I look forward to meeting you with a smile on campus after this has subsided.
